The series 5000 is a true heavy commercial rated double hung (AAMA DH HC 65). The window has been value engineered to combine a superior design with a very competitive price tag. The 5000A is available in 1" double insulated glass, with narrow sight-line sash members. Using Kassl's patented profile grid (between the glass or applied to the glass), this window system adds an architectural enhancement to any building facade. The Series 5000A is a leader in the aluminum replacement market.

The Kassl Series 5000 V.R. is a dual glazed heavy commercial rated double hung. Kassl developed this product for the school marketplace with security in mind. This product allows the option of using polycarbonates in the glazing system in both the interior and exterior lites. An interior access panel is mounted with a full length hinge, this interior panel gives the window its glazing properties of two pieces of glass or polycarbonates for insulating factors. Based on the series VR design, Kassl incorporates a full 1" venetian blind between the glass. With 1" horizontal blinds, free light in the form of direct sunlight or diffused skylight passing through windows can be directed much further into a room than it would normally penetrate. The Kassl 5000VB allows you to control and regulate light and heat transmittance into the room. WIth extruded aluminum headrails and bottomrails, the 1" blind will perform in the largest of window sizes with ease. A slip clutch mechanism helps minimize damage due to over-tilting the blinds. With 1" blinds sealed between the glass, a complete dust free environment can be obtained. The blind may be operated from the classroom, but all access is limited to custodial maintenance only. With use of tamperproof mounting screws, the window system can be fully protected from vandalism or miss-use. The Kassl 5000VB eliminates the costly maintenance on all interior shades. The series 5000 blinds are available in 16 standard colors, to complement any window system finish and interior design.
